The iPhone SE 4 is set to be released this week bringing new features and improvements to Apple's budget-friendly lineup

The iPhone SE 4 is one of the most anticipated devices among Apple fans, alongside the iPhone 17 Air, despite the company not officially announcing their release dates. However, multiple reports, including one by Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, suggest that the phone could be launched this week, making it available for purchase before the end of the month.

A Completely New Design Resembling the iPhone 14

The iPhone SE series has long been known for its compact design, thick bezels, and Touch ID button at the bottom. However, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to undergo a significant design shift, with leaks suggesting it will resemble the iPhone 14. This means Touch ID will be replaced by Face ID, and the phone will feature a flat-edged frame instead of the traditional rounded edges.

iPhone SE 4 Specifications :

  1. Larger OLED Display:

    • 6.1-inch OLED display, an upgrade from the 4.7-inch screen on the previous generation.
    • 60Hz refresh rate support.
  2. Camera Improvements:

    • 48MP rear camera, replacing the 12MP sensor found in the iPhone SE 3.
    • 24MP front camera for improved selfies and video calls.
  3. Processor & Performance:

    • A18 Bionic chip, delivering efficient performance with support for Apple Intelligence features.
    • 8GB RAM, enhancing multitasking and overall performance.
  4. Dynamic Island Support?

    • Some reports suggest that Dynamic Island, introduced in iPhone 14 Pro, could be included. However, others believe it will retain the traditional notch.

Expected Price :

Pricing has always been a major selling point for the iPhone SE series. Leaks indicate that the iPhone SE 4 could start at $499, the same launch price as the iPhone SE 3. However, there’s a possibility of a price increase due to taxes, similar to the previous generation, which reached $600 in some regions.

Unlike Apple's major launch events for flagship iPhones, the iPhone SE 4 is expected to be announced through a press release, much like how Apple recently introduced its new iPads.
