The race to deliver the most advanced AI model in the market never stops, and Google is the latest to announce its newest development in this field: Gemma 3

Google has announced Gemma 3, claiming it is the most powerful AI model that can run on a single GPU.

A year ago, the company launched the first two Gemma models as lightweight versions of Gemini. Now, Gemma 3 follows the same path, supporting over 35 languages with pre-trained compatibility for more than 140 languages.

The best part is its compatibility across various platforms, from mobile devices to workstations. Google describes Gemma 3 as 'the world's best single-accelerator model' and claims it outperforms competitors like Llama, DeepSeek, and OpenAI while running on a single GPU.

This was reflected in the latest Chatbot Arena performance ranking, where Gemma 3 outperformed some of its closest rivals.

Google highlights one of Gemma 3’s key advantages: an expanded context window of 128,000 tokens, allowing it to process and understand large amounts of information efficiently.

Alongside this announcement, Google also introduced ShieldGemma 2, a new image safety classifier designed to filter explicit content on the web
